Ashley’s training at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts and at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where she earned a B.F.A in Musical Theatre, has created opportunities for her to perform, teach and choreograph worldwide — at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, on PBS with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, at the Lincoln Center in NYC, and throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Canada and the Caribbean. Ashley has been a principal singer and company manager for Jean Ann Ryan Productions. Returning to New Hampshire in 2012, Ashley led the theater program at Tilton School, directing three main-stage productions and teaching acting, voice and dance to high school students. She has choreographed for the Interlakes Theatre’s children’s productions, and she has been cast in numerous roles in the theatre’s professional productions, most recently as Morticia in The Addams Family Ashley is the proud new mom of baby Nora and also the proud owner of The Studio at Meredith Bay. Ashley was born to dance, to sing and to inspire students of all ages with her love for the performing arts!
Modern, Tap, Pre-Ballet Instructor
A native of the Lakes Region, Allison found her passion for movement and “all things dance” at Meredith’s Sally’s School of Dance. After graduating from Interlakes High School, Allison went on to study modern dance at Keene State College and then at SUNY Brockport where she earned her BFA. As a college performer, Allison was cast in many dance reviews including the American College Dance Festival’s Gala in Buffalo, NY. Allison brings her passion for creative movement to the Studio where she trains our youngest dancers to enjoy the fun, elegance and energy of self-expression through movement. Movement also plays a major role in her life outside of The Studio, as Allison works as a licensed physical therapist’s assistant.
